BBA IN Marketing
Bolster your brand to compel your clientele
Marketing exists all around us and has many fundamental roles in business. It’s focused on translating the voice of the customer into business decisions. Target market identification, communication, product strategy and pricing are fundamental elements of marketing.
As a marketing major, you will be prepared for a wide variety of fields, including advertising, brand management, marketing research, retail management and professional sales. Students choosing to major in marketing in the McColl School of Business will learn to analyze and interpret the marketplace environment, customers, competitors and market trends, while developing strategies to obtain customer satisfaction.
As a marketing major, you’ll learn both inside and outside the classroom. Students carry out research projects for Charlotte businesses and non-profits, in which they learn to identify customer needs and opinions. Students will also have the opportunity to compete through our Collegiate DECA chapter. You’ll also attend lectures from leading marketing professionals to gain an understanding of the way marketing theory is translated into action.
In addition to our many study abroad program options, we offers business-focused study abroad programs through our partnership with premier business schools in France. You can study abroad for a summer, a semester or a full year. You can also choose to earn a dual degree, adding a Bachelor of European Management to your Queens Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Explore study abroad opportunities.
