     Admission overview

At Queens, we use a rolling admission decision and notification process.  However, some of our scholarships require receipt of an admission application, usually by mid-December (deadlines vary).  In addition to a completed application, students must also have official transcripts sent to the University.

Our admission philosophy is pretty straight forward — we look at the entire student because we educate the entire student.  There are no stated cut-offs for GPA or test scores.  We strongly consider extracurricular activities with a focus on leadership, volunteerism / service, and commitment.  You can get a feel for what a Queens student looks like "on paper" by visiting our Class Profile section.

Students who do not have an academic and/or extracurricular record consistent with Queens University of Charlotte students may be required to submit additional information including (but not limited to): an essay, letter(s) of recommendation, resume, samples of scholarly work and an interview.

Applications are available online (free) at www.queens.edu/applynow.   Paper applications ($40 fee) available on request.  Queens is a Common Application school.
