The Queens University of Charlotte History Department will host the 2018 Carolinas Regional Phi Alpha Theta History Conference on April 13-14. There will be a Friday evening reception at 6 PM, and Saturday (8 AM - 5 PM) will include panel sessions on a variety of historical subjects and a luncheon with a keynote speaker.
This regional conference provides an excellent opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to present their research in a supportive, professional academic setting.
Registration fee is $30 if received by March 14, 2018, $35 thereafter. The registration fee includes the Friday evening reception, lunch on Saturday, light refreshments for breaks, and parking.
Checks should be made payable to Queens University of Charlotte, with “Phi Alpha Theta” in the memo section. Fees may also be paid in person on the day of the conference. A receipt will be emailed upon receipt of fees.

Call for Papers
The program committee for the Phi Alpha Theta Carolinas Regional History Conference invites proposals for papers to be presented at Queens University of Charlotte on Saturday, April 14, 2018. Proposals from both undergraduate and graduate students on any historical topic are welcome, and should include a title and 250-word abstract, along with the proposal form below. See the proposal form for more details. The deadline for the submission of proposals is Wednesday, March 14, 2018.
