Leading the University's new Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning is Professor Deborah Campbell who is transitioning from her current role as assistant professor of English at Queens to spearhead the new center. Professor Campbell earned an MA and BA from West Virginia University and has been on the Queens University faculty since 1987. She has presented numerous papers at the Conference for College Composition and Communication, has led study tours to Greece, Italy, Alpine Europe, Guatemala and South Africa, has taught in both the English and CORE programs, and was the 2002 recipient of the Joseph W. Grier Distinguished Professor Award.
Professor Campbell teaches in the English department and CORE Program in the Liberal Arts and will continue to do so as head of the center.

Dr. Chuck Bamford is an Associate Professor and the Dennis Thompson Chair of Entrepreneurial Studies at Queens Universtiy of Charlotte. He earned his AS at Northern Virginia Community College, a BS at the University of Virginia, an MBA at Virginia Tech and a Ph.D. in Strategy & Entrepreneurship at the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Bamford teaches strategic management and new venture management.

Professor Andrea McCrary earned a B.A. in English from Queens College in 1990 and earned an M.A. in English from the University of Tennessee in 1996. She has led numerous study tours for the John Belk International Program, including trips to Great Britain, France, and the Grand Tour of Cities in Europe. Prof. McCrary began teaching at Queens in 1996 and was the recipient of the Joseph Grier Distinguished Professor Award in 2005.
Prof. McCrary teaches Freshman Writing and in the Core Program in the Liberal Arts.

Dr. Miles earned her B.S.N. from the Medical University of South Carolina and her M.S.N. with a concentration in Nursing Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Graduating from Clemson University with a Ed.D. in Education, Dr. Miles has been a part of the Queens faculty since 2008.
Dr. Miles teaches within the nursing education field.

Dr. Greg Pillar is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science and Chemistry at Queens University of Charlotte. He earned his BS in Enivonrmental Science at the University of Mnnesota, an MS in Agronomy at Kansas State University and a Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry at the University of Georgia. Dr. Pillar began teaching at Queens in 2006 and holds a split appointment in the Department of Chemistry and the Department of Environmental Sciences.

Ms. Joli McClelland earned a BA in Psychology from Queens College in 2000 and a Masters in Library and Information Studies from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro in 2004. Ms. McClelland joined the staff of Everett Library at Queens University of Charlotte in 2005 where she teaches sessions on information literacy, database searching, and library research.
