Queens University of Charlotte receives hundreds of applications for admission from around the world. Of those highly qualified applicants, only a very select group is admitted for enrollment and, in time, meets the requirements to receive their degrees. Those who remain on track to achieve that goal can be deservedly proud.
We are pleased to inform you of the one symbol that truly recognizes that accomplishment — The Official Queens University of Charlotte Class Ring.
Our ring is unique. This is the only class ring officially recognized by the University. The design of the Official Ring will not change — it is the one common bond between those who have graduated in the past and those who will graduate this year and in years to come. It is reserved exclusively for those students who have reached at least junior standing or completed 50% or more of their program's required credits.
We invite you to be a part of the tradition.
Seniors… it is not too late to order your ring!
You may order your “symbol of achievement” now by:
- Going on-line at: www.balfour.com… or
- Visiting the Queens Student Store and completing a ring order application form… or
- Calling 1-866-BALFOUR (1-866-225-3687)
Please RSVP to Jane Williams (704 337-2256)
If you have purchased your Queens ring any time this academic year, join your fellow classmates in a special ceremony in which you will receive your ring (if you have not already received it) and share your collective excitement about what the signet ring symbolizes… your relationship to Queens University of Charlotte and your dedication to the ideals of which Queens wishes to uphold.
The seal on the ring will be a constant reminder: the lamp of knowledge, a reminder of Queens quest to seek the truth; the wreath of laurels, a reminder of the classical foundations of a Queens education; and the Bible, a reminder of the life Queens wishes students to lead. Not least, of course, is the University’s motto: ‘Not to be served, but to serve,’ which will remind students of the noble task before them.
