ELIGIBILITY
High school seniors with superior scholastic and leadership credentials are eligible for the Presidential Scholarship competition. They must apply as first-time freshmen and be full-time, degree-seeking students living on campus. These scholarships are initially granted for a two-year period and are renewable for the final two years, provided the student maintains a satisfactory academic record.
PROCEDURES
To be considered for this scholarship, a student must be accepted in Queens University of Charlotte; submit this formal scholarship application; and be endorsed by his/her high school guidance counselor, teacher of an academic subject, or minister. Finalists will be invited to campus for interviews with the Presidential Scholarship Committee, consisting of faculty, Presbyterian church representatives, and top-ranked upperclassmen of the University.
Responses are limited to 250 words or less.
Only the first 250 words of each response will be presented to the Presidential Scholarship Committee.

Describe an episode or event in your life that taught you a lesson.

The Presidential Scholarship Committee also will take into consideration the information you supplied on your application for admission to Queens University of Charlotte.
All admission and scholarship materials must be submitted to the Office of Admissions by December 15th.
