Ni hao! Greetings from the Middle Kingdom of the world, China.
Our time in Shanghai was short, but the students enjoyed every minute of it. We had a great local guide.
We took the train to Nanjing and stayed at a very nice hotel. Our students went with 22 Chinese students to Sun Yat-sen Memorial, and then went to their houses and stayed over night. They had great stories to tell this morning.
We've spent a day at a Chinese school, where we heard a lecture on Chinese history and were introduced to Chinese painting, Chinese music and even martial arts. Students are practicing English with Chinese students this afternoon.
Tomorrow we're heading off to the countryside. Still staying within budget yet eating well!
