"To the Queens University of Charlotte John Belk International Program Website coordinators: Attached is a photo sent by my daughter, Amanda Hathorne, from her visit last week in Vienna...
"The photo shows Amanda (Music Therapy major) playing a Tibetan Horn at the home of Hector McDonald, first horn player of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra. Mr. McDonald provided tickets for Amanda, Dr. Nitsch and Dr. Engen to hear the Vienna Symphony perform Bruckner's 9th Symphony and Te Deum on May 16 at the famous Musikverein.
"Please accept my heartfelt thanks for providing this invaluable enrichment to Amanda's education at Queens. The email reports she has sent from the Grand Tour have brought an even keener appreciation of the excellence of this course of study. I cannot thank you enough."
