Hello from the QE2. We are currently on our way to Amsterdam. It is about 10pm here. We have all been having a blast. This will be a quick update because I am being charged $.50 a minute.
We went to Copenhagen to view the Crown Jewels at Rosenberg Palace, and then on to Christenborg Palace where we saw the history of Copenhagen on massive tapestries that were done in the 1960s. It seemed strange because the use of colors were very bright and contrasted heavily with the very old architecture. We then did a bus tour of the city where we saw Hans Christian Andersen's house and the Little Mermaid Statue, inspired by his classic fairytale.
Some of the group spent the day browsing the city streets before going on a canal tour of the city. Others went to Tivoli Gardens, the equivalent of Carowinds, where they rode the newest roller coaster, the Daemon!
Pictures are still impossible to send because the ship will not allow and I was not able to locate an internet café in Copenhagen.
Hope everyone at Queens is doing well!
