Bill Means has over 15 years in the field of career development. He has a BS in Psychology from Tennessee State University and a MA in Adult Education, concentration in Higher Education Administration from NC A&T State University. He has a certificate in management from the National Association of Colleges and Employers. Most recently he has worked as Managing Director for INROADS/Charlotte, Inc. and as Director of Health Careers Minority Workforce Development at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He serves on the Board of Managers for the Dowd YMCA, on the Diversity and International committees for the YMCA of Greater Charlotte. He is a member of the Diversity Council of the Carolinas & the Black Professional Network of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce. He joined Queens in August 2006.

Barbara Blazer has a MA in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University and has served as a career center director at Mercer University, Agnes Scott College and Oglethorpe University. Barbara has also served as a certified associate with Drake Beam Morin, Inc. and as a private career consultant. Her professional affiliations include serving as president of the Georgia College Placement Association. She joined Queens in February 2008 and will serve in this role through May 2008.

Andrea 'Dre' Alford graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communication from Queens University of Charlotte and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Organizational Communication with a focus in Professional Coaching. Dre has experience working and traveling internationally including work in human resources with CitiGroup Business Services. She has been with the ICP office since January 2005 and currently serves as the Manager of Internships.

Nancy is a native of New Jersey and relocated to Charlotte in 1998. She was recently employed by Duke Energy in Charlotte, NC as an executive assistant and also worked for over 20 years with The Hertz Corporation in New York City and New Jersey. She is currently enrolled in the ASN program at the Presbyterian School of Nursing at Queens University of Charlotte. Nancy has been with Queens since April 2006. |
