An E-Reserve is an electronic document that your students can download and read/print from any computer. All E-Reserve submissions must include the original copyright information before they can be uploaded to a course reserves page. For journal articles this includes the cover page of the journal as well as the page containing the copyright statement (generally the contents page of the journal). For book chapters you must submit a photocopy of the book's title page as well as the title verso (the reverse side of the title page) for copyright.
The E-Reserve system will also show hardcopy items you have on reserve such as books or videos.

You can download either an E-Reserve Request Form or a Hard Copy Reserve Request Form. Return the form along with your documents/copyright pages/hardcopy items to Everett Library. Hard copy items will be displayed on the reserves page along with your e-reserve items.
If you already have PDF's or URL's you can forward those to barhamj@queens.edu along with your name, phone number, email address, course number, course title, and number of students in the course.

Instructors are responsible for obtaining all copyright clearances for materials they wish to put into the E-Reserve system.
Allow three (3) working days for your request to be processed. Please note that processing requests may take longer at the beginning of the semester.
Please ensure that all of your copies are as clear and clean as possible and please do not staple your copies. Again, please submit copies, not original documents.
Unless you request otherwise, all articles will be uploaded by the article title. Please ask the reserve staff for other naming options.
Documents that are more than 30 pages long may cause slow download times. If possible, please divide your readings into sections of less than 30 pages.
If you have any other questions about the reserve system please contact Joli Barham at 704-337-2591 or via email at barhamj@queens.edu.
