The Art of Cake Decorating
Learn the basic fundamentals of cake decorating, including how to level and smoothly ice a cake, how to apply different borders such as shells and beads and how to write on a cake. Discover how to add basic flowers, leaves and single designs including the classic basket weave.
Instructor: Penny Cunningham has been a passionate cake decorator since 1982. She was employed for 10 years with Edible Art of Charlotte & is currently a North Carolina State Representative for International Cake Exploration Societé (ICES).

Basics of Fondant for Beginners
Learn how to creatively decorate a fondant covered cake! You will learn the basic fundamentals of baking and covering a cake smoothly with fondant, as well as other techniques such as decorating with piping, crimping and creating fondant roses. You will be able to create amazing cakes with these basic skills.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:
In order to receive a refund, less a $15 processing fee, you must withdraw from a class in writing at least five working days prior to the start of the course. No refunds will be given after that time. Please note that if you do not officially withdraw from the course and do not attend the course, you are still responsible for the payment. If the course is canceled for any reason, you will be notified and your entire tuition fee will be refunded.
