Learn elements of design and style for your wardrobe or home. Classes can accommodate any skill level and allow you to work on a project of your choice. Become familiar with fabrics, patterns, machine operations. Students are encouraged to bring a portable sewing machine to class as limited numbers of machines are available.

Instructor: Lea Harrison is an expert seamstress and retired from CPCC as a sewing instructor after 26 years of service.  She is one of the Center's most desired instructors and continues to delight her students each term.

Sewing for Teens

Designed especially for teens, this course presents sewing fundamentals, an introduction to the functions of the sewing machine, fabrics, and reading patterns. Students will complete an individual project of their choice.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:  In order to receive a refund, less a $15 processing fee, you must withdraw from a class in writing at least five working days prior to the start of the course. No refunds will be given after that time. Please note that if you do not officially withdraw from the course and do not attend the course, you are still responsible for the payment. If the course is canceled for any reason, you will be notified and your entire tuition fee will be refunded.
