Kanyaruhuru Named Indoor Track and Field All-American
Queens student-athlete captured the 5,000m title at the 2008 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship

CHARLOTTE, N.C., (March 19, 2008) — Queens University of Charlotte track athlete Daniel Kanyaruhuru (Phoenix, Az./Paradise Valley) has been named a 2008 United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association’s (USTFCCCA) Men’s Division II Indoor Track and Field All-American as announced on March 16.
The announcement comes at the conclusion of the 2008 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships that took place on March 14-15 in Mankato, Minn., at Minnesota State University-Mankato.
Kanyaruhuru captured the 5,000m title at the Championship with a time of 14:12.85.
Earlier this year Knayaruhuru was named an All-American in cross country for his fifth place finish at the 2007 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championship.
