If you're a registered nurse with an associate's degree or diploma, the RN-to-BSN at Queens University of Charlotte offers the opportunity to enhance your basic education, learn new knowledge and skills, and multiply your career options.
Why is Queens a great choice for completing your BSN degree?
- Interactive, engaging classes
- Online or classroom-based option
- Convenient, single-day hours that won't change for the program's four semesters
- Faculty focused on student learning
- Full accreditation of the program by the Commission on Collegiate Education
- Queens University of Charlotte Career Mobility Scholarship for the bridge course, NURS 310, which is offered at a 50% tuition reduction
- William Randolph Hearst Nursing Scholarship - Need-based and merit-based
- Preceptor Scholarship
- Tuition deferment option
- All 41 of your nursing credits will transfer into the RN to BSN program (Presbyterian School of Nursing ASN graduates only). Non-Queens ASN graduates can transfer in 36 credits after NURS310 is completed.
Our program recognizes your previous nursing experience and works with you to accomplish your individual goals. The curriculum coursework exposes you to the most current theories and issues in nursing. You can deepen your understanding of evidence-based practice, strengthen your leadership skills, and broaden your understanding of the healthcare needs of diverse populations.
The Queens environment offers personalized attention from your faculty and low student/faculty ratios. Learning experiences are often individualized to match your area of interest. Clinical courses are competency-based with a focus on achieving identified outcomes rather than strictly prescribed learning activities.
