What is the first step in the admission process?
The fist step in the admission process is admittance to Queens University of Charlotte.
Applicants to the BSN program at Queens may select 1 of 2 points of entry to Queens: either admission to the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) or admission to Hayworth College (HC). Whichever college the student chooses, the student has to be admitted to that college before the student can apply and be admitted to the nursing major. While the general education requirements are different in CAS or HC, once the student is admitted to the nursing major, the course of study is identical for all students.
How do you know which of the two ways to enter Queens is right for you?
If, after reading the information below on the 2 points of entry, you are unsure which best suits your needs and interest; you may contact an admissions counselor in either CAS or HC to learn more about the colleges.
The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS)
This point of entry into Queens is usually for student who want a traditional college program of study that includes Queens’ CORE Program in the Liberal Arts and travel abroad through the John Belk International Program. The point of entry is usually chosen by students entering directly from high school and wanting to live on campus for at least some of their college experience.
