Women’s Golf Wraps-Up Fall Season

Royals play in Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (October 14, 2003) – The Queens University of Charlotte women’s golf team completed its fall season at the Lenoir Rhyne/Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate at Baytree held in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The Royals shot 347-354-703 good for ninth place on the leader board at the twelve-team event. Central Arkansas University came away with the trophy shooting 633.

Catelyn Eddy led Queens with 88-86-174 and finished in a tie for no. 35 at the event. Courtney Noble (86-90-176) and Christa Soderstrom (87-89-176) finished in a tie for number 40. Sara McCarthy shot a 179 and Martha Morgan a 180 to round out the scoring for the Royals. Queens looks forward to a new season beginning in the spring.
