Women’s Golf Competes At Lady Falcon Invitational

 

Eddy leads Royals

 

BADIN, N.C. (March 18, 2004) – The Queens University of Charlotte women’s golf team competed in the four-team Pfeiffer University Lady Falcon Invitational at the Old North State Club in Badin, N.C. The Royals did not qualify since only three players competed. Lenoir-Rhyne College won the two-day tournament, followed by Catawba College and host Pfeiffer.

 

Catelyn Eddy led the Royals firing a +28 172 and No. 12 finish. Martha Morgan finished No. 18 and Sara McCarthy No. 21. Each of the three Queens players improved their score on the second day of the tournament.

 

Queens is next in action at the Upstate College Classic March 28-30 in Gaffney, S.C.
