The Thelma Albright Society is a group of alumni, friends, faculty and staff of Queens University of Charlotte who share the dream of what this special institution has been in the past and can become in the future. These supporters of the university have made the important decision to include Queens in their long term financial and estate planning. These planned gifts are large and small, but each one is special, sometimes representing all or a portion of what is left from one’s lifework.
The Albright Society is named for one of Queens most dedicated supporters. Miss Thelma Albright came to Queens in 1937 and served the institution for over 40 years as Professor, Dean, colleague and friend. She had the highest of standards for herself and others and always kept Queens in her heart.

Members of the Albright Society are recognized each year in Queens’ annual Donor Report unless they choose to remain anonymous. They also receive special mailings from Queens and are honored at the annual Royal and Albright Society Recognition event.
Although nearly 80% of Americans make charitable contributions each year, less that 6% of those same households plan a charitable bequest. Please join this select group of generous individuals who will leave a legacy in support of the values that have made Queens the kind of institution that it is today.
