Groundbreaking,  Fall 2008

• $4.7M investment in a 13,500 sq. ft. facility overlooking the Queens Sports Complex Championship field.
   
• Project History:  The 65-acre Queens Sports Complex was initiated in 2003 as a public-private partnership with Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation.
   
• Project Features:  The fieldhouse will provide modern locker room and athletic training facilities for 14 of Queens' 16 NCAA Division II athletic programs.
   
  •   Locker rooms
  •   Weight room facilities
  •   Coaches' offices
  •   Academic space
  •   State-of-the-art training suite
  •   2,000 sq. ft. Pressbox at field side to serve gameday operations
  •   Grandstands for (initially) 500, (ultimately) 2,000 spectators
