The Art of Cake Decorating for Beginners (held at the MPBC-Cornwell Center)
Learn the fundamentals of cake decorating including how to level and smoothly ice a cake, how to apply different borders such as shells and beads and how to write on a cake. Discover how to add basic flowers, leaves and simple designs including the classic basket weave.
INSTRUCTOR: Penny Cunningham has been an avid cake decorator since 1982. She has been a member of the International Cake Exploration Societe (ICES) since 1990 and currently serves as their show director for the 2008 Carolina Cake Show..
