Give to Queens

Many of us dream of leaving a legacy that will change the lives for future generations. In the past, only a select few achieved this goal through academia. Today, this dream is possible to many through a variety of tax-saving options. The Investing in Queens’ Future Campaign places renewed emphasis on securing new Thelma Albright Society members, paving the way for future generations of Queens students.
Queens believes in making the dreams of its students, as well as its donors, come true by offering a variety of ways to establish legacy gifts through planned giving.
What is planned giving?
Charitable giving can be rewarding on many levels, especially when donors combine it with their financial and estate planning. This process, known as planned giving, provides a way to support Queens while enjoying greater tax and financial benefits.
Planned giving options include:
• Bequests in a will
• Charitable Gift Annuities
• Charitable Remainder Annuity Trusts
• Charitable Remainder Unitrusts
• Gifts of Retirement Assets
• Retained Life Estates
• Gifts of Life Insurance
• Charitable Lead Trusts
About the Thelma Albright Society:
Planned giving donors become members of the Thelma Albright Society, joining others who have committed to shape Queens’ future. This society honors those individuals who include Queens University of Charlotte in their estate plans and who have notified us of their intentions. Members of this special legacy society understand that the future success of Queens depends on the plans we make today. The goal of the society is to acknowledge those individuals for their vision and to provide a lasting tribute in their honor. The Thelma Albright Society includes both living and deceased individuals who have bequeathed either a portion or their entire estate to Queens.
Experience the joy of making a lasting difference in the world: Invest in Queens’ Future!
