Andy Serketich

Andy is a great example of the doors that can be opened and the contacts that are made through the internship portion of the PGM program. Andy worked 2 internships at Whistling Straits while attending Queens and was hired full time when he graduated in May of 2007. Whistling Straits has been host to the PGA Championship and the Senior US Open. They will host the Ryder Cup in 2020. Being in Wisconsin, Whistling has a short season.This forced Andy to relocate. And this winter he has been working at Hawk's Nest GC, a private club in Vero Beach Florida. Andy, being a true badger at heart plans to return to Whistling later in the Spring where he will be working with the marketing department for the resort.
