All board members are expected to be very active in the life of the University and support Queens through service and financial contributions (a gift to The Queens Fund). Each board member also agrees to serve on one board Committee. Committees include The Queens Fund Committee, Reunion Committee, Chapters & Admissions Committee and Nominating & Awards Committee. ALUMNI AMBASSADORS OF QUEENS UNIVERSITY OF CHARLOTTE!
The board meets three times a year to discuss reunion, chapters, the Queens Fund, as well as to review current procedures. Alumni may recommend themselves or others for inclusion on the Board of Directors. Nominations are taken each spring, and in the following fall, the nominating committee within the current Board of Directors reviews the nominations, suggests others and then names the next year’s slate of board members along with the alumni award recipients.
