Alpha Delta Pi was the first secret society in the world of women.  Originally the Adelphean Society, ADPi was founded at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia in 1851. 

The Beta Iota Chapter of Alpha Delta Pi was founded at Queens in February of 1931.
