There should never be a beginning or an end to leadership, it is continuous as you are always a leader whether you realize it or not. You will find bumps in the road, but you have to keep going.

During the spring semester, a group of fifteen freshmen students are selected to participate in Emerging Leaders.  

Emerging Leaders are engaged in self-development exercises and teambuilding activities. Through community service projects and leadership workshops, the students learn more about themselves and their leadership style. The program opens-up doors for the students, introducing them to ways for them to get involved in the Queens community and continue their leadership development.

Emerging Leaders Application Process
Students interested in finding out more information about Emerging Leaders may attend one of the Orientation Sessions. In order to apply for the spring Emerging Leaders program, a student must have freshmen standing and attend one of the Orientation sessions listed below. Applications will be available at the Orientation sessions.

Tuesday, January 23 at 11am Common Grounds Coffeehouse.............Orientation Meeting

Wednesday, January 24 at 7pm in Common Grounds Coffeehouse......Orientation Meeting
