Students living on campus will be granted access to their assigned residence hall via their student identification card. This card allows you to enter the front door of your residence hall, which is kept locked at all times. To help keep yourself and others safe, you should never loan or give your access card to another person. If your card should be misplaced or damaged, you may go to Mail/Copy Center for a replacement card.
You will be issued a room key during residence hall check-in. Like access cards, you should never loan or give your key to anyone. If at anytime you misplace or damage your key, you should immediately notify your Resident Coordinator. Damaged keys may be replaced at no cost, but lost keys require a lock change at a fee of $65.00. By reporting a lost key, you are helping to protect your belongings and personal safety.
The parking deck is reserved for resident students only. At the entrance and exit of the parking deck, there are remote control gates operated by your residence hall access cards. Parking permits are purchased through Campus Police.
All students at Queens are allowed to bring cars to campus. If you plan to park on campus, it is important for you to understand the policies and even more important for you to register your car. To register your vehicle and receive a parking permit, please complete and print out the Queens Automobile Registration form, then take the form to the Campus Police Office located in the Stultz Building near the Clock Tower.
NOTE: For a complete set of parking codes and the location of parking designations, as well as the hours of enforcement, you will need a Campus Police Parking Guide. These may be obtained at the Campus Police Office.

If you bring a bicycle to campus, be sure to bring a high security lock such as "Kryptonite" or "Citadel" to keep it secure. Bicycles may not be stored in halls, stairwells or common areas of the residence halls. Bicycles in these areas are unsightly and present a potential obstacle during an evacuation of a building.
Bicycle racks are located in front of Albright and Barnhardt Halls and beside Wallace Hall. The University will remove bicycles that are stored in the residence halls without notice to the student. Bicycles must be registered with Campus Police and engraved for your protection against theft.
