Five renewable full tuition scholarships are awarded annually to graduating high school seniors entering the College of Arts and Sciences. Candidates must demonstrate a superior academic record, leadership achievement, and involvement in school, church, or community. A separate scholarship application, including an endorsement form, must be submitted by December 15.
Three renewable full tuition scholarships are awarded annually to graduating high school seniors residing in Mecklenburg County, NC entering the College of Arts and Sciences. Candidates must demonstrate a superior academic record, leadership achievement, and involvement in school, church, or community. A separate scholarship application, including an endorsement form, must be submitted by December 15.
Students may not apply for both the Presidential Scholarship and the Mecklenburg Scholarship.
Up to two graduating high school seniors are awarded annually an Overcash Fellowship in the amount of $5,000 to attend the College of Arts and Sciences. This renewable tuition fellowship is awarded to students exhibiting an interest in the capacity to find creative relationships between the humanities, math, science, and technology. A separate application is required and must be submitted by January 15.
Twenty-five renewable half tuition scholarships are awarded annually to graduating high school seniors entering the College of Arts and Sciences. Candidates must have exhibited outstanding achievements in scholarship and leadership along with a high level of service to school, church, or community. A separate application is required. The deadline has been extended to January. 10th, 2006

The University Scholars Program awards an unlimited number of scholarships to graduating high school seniors entering the College of Arts and Sciences.
Students in the College of Arts and Sciences are provided an opportunity to participate in one of Charlotte's many human service agencies. Renewable tuition scholarships of $2,200 are awarded annually in exchange for 100 hours of community service each semester. A separate application is required and must be submitted by January 15.
Competitive tuition scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors who plan a major or concentration in music or a major in music therapy in the College of Arts and Sciences. Competitive auditions are held in February. For more information contact the Department of Music.
Drama Scholarships
Competitive tuition scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors who plan a major or concentration in drama in the College of Arts and Sciences. An audition or videotape submission is required prior to January 15.
Art Scholarships
Competitive tuition scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors who plan a major or concentration in art in the College of Arts and Sciences. Students must submit portfolios by January 15.
Renewable scholarships are awarded to students on the basis of academic achievement and potential for success at Queens University of Charlotte in the College of Arts and Sciences. No separate application is required. Students accepted by February 15 receive priority in consideration of scholar and achievement awards not requiring a separate application.
A limited number of renewable tuition scholarships are awarded annually to international students in the College of Arts and Sciences recognizing academic performance. No separate application is required.
Full-time College of Arts and Sciences degree students who are dependents of an active Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) Mid-Atlantic synod minister receive a 20% tuition grant. Dependents of active ministers in all other Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) synods receive a 15% tuition grant.
Athletic scholarships are offered in 14 men’s and women’s sports to students in the College of Arts and Sciences. Queens is an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference. A number of endowed scholarships are available to students in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Presbyterian School of Nursing. No separate application is required. Scholarships are awarded to students who meet the qualifying criteria set forth by the donors.
