The English Department offers courses of study in literature, drama and creative writing. If you have a sense of adventure and if you like to travel in the limitless realms of the imagination, a major in English is right for you. While exploring the imaginative worlds of our greatest writers and meeting the memorable characters they have created, you will develop such marketable skills as effective writing and speaking, analytical thinking and creativity - skills that will lead to success in whatever career you choose.
