The English Department offers a course of study in Drama as well as Literature and Creative Writing. If you have a sense of adventure, and if you like to travel in the limitless realms of the imagination, a major in Drama is right for you. The Curriculum
Our program offers a literature based Drama major complemented by extensive opportunities to act and direct in on-campus performances. Students have had the opportunities to intern at a diverse group of sites including Charlotte Arts Magazine, Radio Disney Charlotte, WBTV News, the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, Opera Carolina, and the Arts and Science Council of Charlotte-Mecklenburg County.
