Several disciplines intersect to create the Interior Design Major at Queens: Art, Art History, Math, Science, Business, Technology and an Internship opportunity. This popular program prepares students for a variety of career opportunities, including starting their own small business. Students with a love of art and design, whether attending college for the first time or returning to complete a degree, follow their passion and dream of becoming an interior designer. Our convenient evening classes are perfect for those who have jobs or commitments during the day.

Students will study furnishings, textiles, textures, surface treatments and color, merging the elements of art, design and the art of living.
