In addition to a required major, students have the option of studying a minor as part of a bachelor's degree program.  The minor must be in a field of study that is different from the major.

Requirements for an English minor:

ENGL 200 Introduction to World Literature
ENGL 210 British Literature to 1660
ENGL 220 British Literature 1660 to present

Plus 12 additional hours, nine of which must be at the 300 level or above. ENGL 230, Survey of American Literature, is recommended.
