Now that we’ve effectively re-introduced Queens as Queens University of Charlotte, it seems appropriate to introduce our new “Visual Standards Guide.” Documents like this are intended to help communicate the essence of our brand and to insure that the various components of brand imagery are used consistently.
Our image at Queens University of Charlotte is a function of many things...some of which take years, or perhaps more accurately, decades to build upon. To the extent we can deliberately manage our image, we can improve our overall reputation and therefore improve the likelihood of attaining our 4-4-5 goal.
Managing our image is dependent on a number of things, the quality of our educational experience, rankings in authoritative publications such as U.S. News & World Report, the connection we make on our campus tours, and our ability to apply our branding strategy with consistency and continuity.
The Queens University of Charlotte Visual Standards Guide provides a definitive set of examples of how our branding components should be used. This guide will walk you through the strategy and a range of implementation alternatives. Our goal is to make all of us better “brand managers” and to maintain the integrity of the Queens University of Charlotte brand identity.
Sincerely,

Dr. Pamela Davies President, Queens University of Charlotte |
