In response to the ever-growing number of Web project requests, The office of University Relations is proud to announce its new Web Project Management System. The Web Project Management System is overseen by Jade Sutter, assistant director for integrated marketing communication for the office of University Relations.
Your Web Project Request begins when you fill out a request form, located at www.queens.edu/
webrequest/form.doc.
This interactive MS Word form can be filled out online, then saved to your hard drive and emailed to us as an attachment; or you can print it out, then send it by fax or inter-office mail.

You may also wish to save the blank form permanently on your computer, for future use.
Jade will respond within 48 hours to acknowledge that we have received your request. We then enter it into our Web Project Log, a shared Filemaker database. At this time, we may contact you for more information to help us determine the priority and due date; to request written content or artwork; or to guide you, if it is a project you can accomplish yourself.
We determine which of us will manage the project, then keep notes in the Project Log as steps of the project are accomplished. We strive to keep you updated about its progress, but at times the high work load may lead us to communicate less frequently. At any time, you may contact Jade for a project update.
Every two weeks, we prepare a PDF report of all projects, completed and current, in the last 3 months. The report shows a brief description of each request, whom it was requested by, the project due date, and the date of completion (this last field being blank if the project is still underway.)
The Web Project report is distributed to all Deans and Vice Presidents.
