Daniel G. Lugo, J.D., a distinguished higher education professional and inspirational leader known for innovative resource development at some of the nation’s most prestigious liberal arts institutions, joined Queens University of Charlotte as 21st president on July 1, 2019. He was most recently vice president for College Advancement at Colby College in Waterville, Maine.

Lugo is an innovative higher education leader who has served in senior positions at three prestigious national liberal arts colleges, and has strategic experience in institutional advancement, alumni engagement, enrollment marketing, student recruitment and diversity and inclusion.
