Daniel G. Lugo began his service as Queens' 21st president on July 1, 2019.


Daniel G. Lugo, J.D., a distinguished higher education professional and inspirational leader known for innovative resource development at some of the nation’s most prestigious liberal arts institutions, joined Queens University of Charlotte as 21st president on July 1, 2019. He was most recently vice president for College Advancement at Colby College in Waterville, Maine.

I could not be more excited to serve as Queens’ next president at a moment when the university has accomplished so much. Queens is well-positioned to grow in national recognition and to become an even greater partner with the Charlotte community.
