Adult Undergraduate Program

Take Your First Step Toward Your Bachelor's Degree.

On Campus Online

You’ve come this far. Let Queens take you further.

So, you already have your associate’s degree or the equivalent. Congratulations—that’s a huge first step. But now it’s time to take the all-important next step by earning your bachelor’s degree so you can start reaching your true earning potential.

You’re not alone. In fact, 20% of our students are adult undergrads like yourself.

Business Administration and Communication Degrees

Take Two Classes per Semester. Finish is in Sight.

Our undergraduate business administration and communication degrees have been completely revamped to be more accessible, flexible and affordable than ever. In fact, you will finish in 27 months if you take two to three classes per term. We also have a pre-planned schedule that eliminates the “what courses should I take, and when?” questions. Now all you have to do is follow our proven path straight to your bachelor’s.

Cost Transparency

Our small class sizes mean that staff and faculty will know you personally so they can connect you with the right career path.

Also, you’ll know the costs upfront. If you commit to the suggested pace and schedule, we can tell you the exact amount you’ll owe.

Business Administration | 59 credit hours
$28,320  |  *$2,880 - $5,280 per term

Communication | 58 credit hours
$27,840  |  *$2,880 - $4,800 per term

*Cost is based on 2-3 classes per term and doesn't factor in financial aid and student fees.

Built-in Flexibility for Busy Adult Students

Lastly, we’ve created an extremely flexible model. You can take classes online, on campus or both. You can complete either the Business Administration or Communication degrees with minimum visits to campus.

You’ve done so much work already. Our Adult Undergraduate Program is here to help you get to the next level.

Other Flexible Degree Offerings

“My first point of contact was a Queens admissions counselor who answered all my questions. Every time I found myself on campus, they had time to talk to me.”—Alvan Makundi-Tchibinda ’18 (pictured above)

Additional Benefits for Adult Students

You’re a non-traditional student, but that doesn’t mean your experience has to be. We’ve created a long list of benefits for adult students, including:

  • A “roadmap” course that helps you re-enter college by providing an intro to Queens, transition tips for coming back to school and an overview of university services
  • Access (even after you graduate) to the Vandiver Center for Career Development for interview prep, help with resume writing and job board access
  • Ability to travel abroad at an additional cost
  • Integration with the city of Charlotte including internship opportunities and a large network of job prospects post-graduation
