Earn a degree that will prepare you to enter this dynamic, evolving profession
An accounting degree from Queens provides you with the foundation to pursue the career path that is right for you in this dynamic and evolving profession. Along with your accounting and analytical skills, you’ll develop liberal arts skills, including analysis, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, ethical reasoning and technology.
Because the Queens faculty are well connected within the Charlotte and surrounding business communities, are professionally certified and bring years of real world experience in both public and corporate accounting to the classroom, you will be well prepared for the work environment you will enter upon graduation or to continue your studies towards an advanced degree such as a Masters in Accounting or MBA.
Your BBA degree provides the necessary requirements to sit for certification exams such as the CPA, CMA, or CIA. Students planning to pursue CPA certification will have the opportunity to consult with the accounting faculty to develop a plan to satisfy the additional requirements for licensure.
