Begin the Application Process

You're financially independent and may be returning to college after a long time away, or perhaps you're juggling school with obligations like work or family. We want to support you as you pursue your bachelor's degree. Begin today, and make the next step toward your new start.

1.  Complete an online application.

2.  Request transcripts.

Request official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities as well as your high school transcript. Send transcripts to:

Submit electronic transcripts to admissions@queens.edu.

3. Submit a signed statement of good standing form.

The signed statement of good standing form must be signed by the Dean of Students' Office at your most recent institution. This can be forwarded to admissions@queens.edu.

4. Attend a Post-Traditional Open House.

We welcome you to come by for a campus tour or an info session to see why so many people who visit Queens decide to become Queens students. Post-Traditional Open House is an evening event that is recommended for adult students returning to school. 

5.  Submit a FAFSA if required for attendance.

*All transcripts must be included on the application regardless if transfer of credit is earned. An admissions decision will not be made until all transcripts have been received. Students who fail to disclose all transcripts are subject to having their admissions decision rescinded.

Deadlines & Important Dates:

August 1, 2019 Queens application opens for students planning to start in spring or fall 2020.
September 18, 2019 Admissions decisions are released on a rolling basis. A student's application must be complete and supporting documents submitted before their application will be reviewed.
October 1, 2019 The FAFSA opens. All prospective students must fill this out in order to receive a financial aid package.
October 19, 2019 Discover Queens is a Saturday event from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. for all undergraduate students that gives students and families the opportunity to meet admissions counselors, tour campus and talk with students. You’ll get an in-depth view of the classroom experience, life at Queens, and the enrollment process. 
November 16, 2019 Discover Queens is a Saturday event from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. for all undergraduate students that gives students and families the opportunity to meet admissions counselors, tour campus and talk with students. Suggested application completion date for spring 2020. Adult students applying for the spring 2020 term are encouraged to apply as early as possible. We review applications on a rolling basis, so as soon as an admissions file is complete, the committee is be prepared to review it.
