At Queens, we value your military experience. In honor of your service, we have developed a specific program to help turn the skills you learned into the building blocks of a new career. We also appreciate the sacrifices of your family and welcome veterans, active military, dependents and spouses to our undergraduate and graduate level courses. We promise you a personalized experience with small classes, easy access to faculty and school resources and customized learning in a supportive environment. We are proud to be a degree-granting Yellow Ribbon Program Institution.
GI Bill
The Post 9/11 GI Bill provides financial support for education and housing to individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service on active duty after September 10, 2001, or those individuals who were honorably discharged from active duty for a service-connected disability after serving 30 continuous days following September 10, 2001.
"From the first day I walked onto the Queens campus I felt welcomed. The financial aid professional first thanked me for my service and then eagerly assisted me with enrolling in military education benefits. The nursing professors were very supportive and understanding when I received orders. I could not thank the university enough for supporting me in my education and my military service." - Tavaruss Campbell '14, RN, BSN, CCRN
