The transcript must be translated into English.<\/p>\n<p>How to translate your transcript: The translation must be done by a school official or a certified translation service. Accepted services include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wes.org\/\">World Education Services<\/a> (WES)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/myiee.org\/university\/queens-university-of-charlotte\">International Education Evaluations<\/a> (IEE)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/app.evalcompany.com\/3f3dd610-761c-4888-b474-ee56f38ad2dd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Evaluation Company<\/a> (TEC)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> <strong>Submit standardized English Proficiency Test Scores<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the following test scores is required to meet Queens University\u2019s English proficiency standard:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.toeflgoanywhere.org\/\">TOEFL<\/a> (iBT): 4.5 or higher (79 or higher for exams taken prior to Jan. 21, 2026)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ielts.org\/\">IELTS<\/a>: 6.0 or higher<\/li>\n<li>Duolingo English Test: 110 or higher<\/li>\n<li>SAT: 480 or higher on the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section<\/li>\n<li>ACT: 18 or higher on the English section<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>You do not need to submit a test score if:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>You have completed a U.S.-based high school diploma program, in English, with at least one full academic year of non-ESL coursework.<\/li>\n<li>You have completed Level 112 at an ELS Language Center in the United States.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --> <!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><em>Note<\/em>: International first-year applicants who have completed a diploma program with a minimum of one academic year, in English, at a US-based high school, in all non-ESL classes are exempt from these testing requirements. In addition, any student who has successfully completed level 112 of the ELS Language Centers English program is exempt from meeting the minimum testing requirements to demonstrate proficiency in the English language.<\/p>\n<p><strong>International Student Services<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Have questions? We take a holistic approach to admission. For many students, standardized test scores add to this holistic picture. We will review the entirety of your application, including a review of your academic record and any optional items you choose to include. Your application will be complete and fully considered whether you send us scores or not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The only exception to using test scores for admission is our BSN Direct Admit option. Please check the BSN Direct Admit section in Step One for details.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to complete your application without test scores, make sure to select \u201cno\u201d under Testing plan. If you do, we\u2019d love to hear from them through a letter of recommendation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Interviews<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Interviews are a great way for us to get to know you and for you to get to know us.
