    How the Accelerated Pathway Process Works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Queens identifies students who may be a good fit for an accelerated pathway after they\u2019re admitted to the university. If you qualify, you\u2019ll receive early communication and a clear set of next steps so you can decide whether you want to pursue the accelerated option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 1: Qualify for a pathway<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    To be considered, you\u2019ll need to meet the qualifications for your intended track:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Accelerated MA in Communication (MACom)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • 3.5 high school GPA (on a 4.0 scale)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Intended bachelor\u2019s degree in the Knight School of Communication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Accelerated MS in Financial Analytics (MSFA)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • 3.0 high school GPA (on a 4.0 scale)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Intended bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        Step 2: Confirm your intent<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Students who qualify will receive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • A notification letting them know they meet the criteria<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • An intent-to-enroll form outlining pathway expectations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          If you want to pursue the pathway, you\u2019ll sign and submit the form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 3: Receive early advising support<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          Once you submit your intent-to-enroll form, you\u2019ll receive specialized advising the summer before your first year and at Orientation to help you plan your coursework and stay on track for the accelerated timeline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Step 4: Officially apply at the end of sophomore year<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          You\u2019re not fully enrolled in the accelerated pathway right away. By the end of your sophomore year, you\u2019ll complete the official application process for your pathway.
          To move forward, you\u2019ll need to meet the application requirements for your intended pathway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Application Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          Accelerated MACom (MA in Communication)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

          By the end of sophomore year, students will submit:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
