Within just a few miles of campus, students can access the Mint Museum, the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, the Harvey B. My professors fostered a comprehensive understanding of the subject and facilitated local connections, providing professional and personal experiences that have left me fully prepared for work after graduation.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Program Highlights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Art History, Gallery &amp; Museum Practices major provides a comprehensive understanding of art and visual culture in different historical and modern contexts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You\u2019ll gain practical experience on campus at the Bank of America and Loevner Galleries in the Sarah Belk Gambrell Center for the Arts and Civic Engagement, where students play a vital role in curating and installing exhibitions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Our students also get access to meaningful internship opportunities at a variety of local museums, galleries, and art-related businesses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apprenticeships and valuable mentorship opportunities are also available. Queens students have been mentored by the senior leaders at the Mint Museum, the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, the Harvey B.
