Biochemistry combines the study of living organisms (biology) and the study of matter (chemistry). Scientists use biochemistry principles to understand living things on a molecular level and their biological processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n    \n<component\n  is=\"media-context\"\n  class=\"media-context media-context--light \"\n>\n  <div class=\"media-context__inner grid\">\n    <div class=\"media-context__context\">\n          \n<component is=\"context\" class=\"context context--medium context--dark \">\n          <p>Studying biochemistry will help you develop technical and analytical science skills you can apply in real-world settings through hands-on lab work. You will also have the opportunity to work on research that addresses real problems in areas that interest you.
