They examine our eyes to check visual acuity, diagnose eye diseases and disorders, and prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses for patients. At Queens, you bring the passion, and we equip you with an exceptional foundation in the sciences to get you in the right program and the liberal arts perspective that contributes to becoming a reputable doctor. Smaller classes will also enhance your learning experience and discussion with classmates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Students in pre-professional pathways receive specialized faculty advising on the path to optometry school as well as internship experiences to learn more about the profession.
