If you are interested in maintaining and restoring our world, come discover how scientists, managers, policymakers, and the public can work together for change. Our faculty mentors also thoughtfully place students in internships with local or regional conservation partners that fit with their goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conservation is about science AND people, and the major highlights courses outside of science. Many students take courses like policy writing, storytelling, public health, data analytics, and environmental justice. These courses will help students apply conservation science to the world through policy, multi-media presentations, law, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Can You Use This Degree?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With this degree, you will be prepared for graduate studies, jobs in industry, research careers, or teaching biology at the secondary level (9-12). This project not only allowed me to pursue my personal interests but also helped me develop crucial skills like public speaking and research methodologies.
