During fall 2019, the entire Queens community will explore the topic of criminal justice together as Common Read and Learning Society join forces.
In partnership, Common Read and Learning Society will feature Michelle Alexander, New York Times best-selling author of The New Jim Crow: Mass Incarceration in the Age of Colorblindness. All undergraduate students, full time and current adjunct faculty, and staff can pick up a complimentary copy of The New Jim Crow by showing their Q-Card at the bookstore.
