{"id":1699,"date":"2023-11-29T11:01:27","date_gmt":"2023-11-29T16:01:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.queens.edu\/education\/?post_type=directory&#038;p=1699"},"modified":"2023-11-29T11:01:27","modified_gmt":"2023-11-29T16:01:27","slug":"patrice-petroff-phd","status":"publish","type":"directory","link":"https:\/\/www.queens.edu\/education\/campus-directory\/patrice-petroff-phd\/","title":{"rendered":"Patrice Petroff, Ph.D."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Biography<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Patrice Petroff&#8217;s areas of expertise are reading\/literacy K-12, multicultural education and diversity training and educational technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She spent nine years as active department chair for the School of Education and director of teacher education (2003-2012).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to her engagement at Queens, Dr. Petroff was a reading specialist focusing on the diagnosis of reading difficulties and the assessment and instruction of K-12 students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She is a regular panelist and presenter at both regional and national conferences on education, has co-authored book chapters for publication and was the recipient of the William S.
