Bianca Sumutka, Ph.D.
Dr. Bianca M. Sumutka has taught at Queens since 2017. Prior to joining the faculty, she taught at Lynchburg College (now University of Lynchburg) and was a postdoctoral fellow at Haskins Laboratories. She is a cognitive psychologist whose research interests include first and second language acquisition, and more recently, the impact that technology has on cognitive processes such as memory.
Dr. Sumutka teaches courses in general psychology, cognitive psychology, decision making, health psychology, personality psychology and developmental psychology. She is also a member of the Marking Excellence committee. She enjoys supporting student-faculty scholarly and creative collaborations.
