David Hudson

Assistant Professor, Presbyterian School of Nursing


Dr. David Hudson teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs of the Presbyterian School of Nursing. He teaches across the curriculum in the pre-licensure track and undergraduate program, and has a focus on leadership and informatics in the graduate program. Dr. Hudson has an interest and passion for student success and working with at-risk students.

Dr. Hudson been a registered nurse since June of 1991. His clinical background ranges from medical/surgical, pre/post-operative/post-anesthesia care, critical care and his true clinical love, emergency nursing.

Dr. Hudson is also the proud father of Noah, who is currently on active duty in the United States Army. In his spare time, Dr. Hudson enjoys camping, bowling, karaoke, and being socially/politically active in the LGBTQ+ community.
