Biography

Kathryn Rhett’s most recent collection of poetry, Immortal Village, was published by Carnegie Mellon University Press in 2018. She is the author of an essay collection, Souvenirand a memoir, Near Breathing editor of the anthology Survival Stories: Memoirs of Crisis. Her work has appeared in Creative Nonfiction, Harvard Review, Massachusetts Review, Michigan Quarterly Review, the New York Times Sunday Magazine, River Teeth and elsewhere. She is the recipient of a Pennsylvania Council on the Arts fellowship in nonfiction, and Chair of the English Department at Gettysburg College. 

 Rhett teaches Poetry and Nonfiction in our low-residency MFA in Creative Writing program.
